The online survey tool is available for all IMATH users. For new users, an account needs to be created first. Further details: https://wiki.math.uzh.ch/math/limesurvey
Please follow the advices under https://wiki.math.uzh.ch/public/CronJobs to setup cronjobs.
Creating or editing cronjob on another server than 'ssh.math.uzh.ch', is not possible anymore.
All active S-Accounts from students have been renamed to their uzh_shortname.
The latest version will be started by default.
If needed, the older versions can be started via commandline (mathematica-9.0, mathematica-8.0.4, ...).
Installation images can be downloaded from `/scratch/software/math/mathematica/10.1.0` or as described under https://www.s3it.uzh.ch/software/mathematica/.
Create I-MATH Support Tickets via commandline. The script behaves like the commandline tool `mail`
Example 1: create a ticket with subject 'Printer J11' and the body 'Please replace the toner, it's empty.'
$ ttt Printer J11 Please replace the toner, it's empty. <Ctrl-D>Example 2: create a ticket with the subject 'long error message' and as the body the content of a text file
$ ttt long error message < file.txtCheck further options with 'ttt -h'
There was a problem that the 'UZH shortname' user credentials are case insensitive for the username. As a result, some user accounts has been created with wrong lower/upper case characters. This is fixed now.
Purged and reinstalled flashplugin-installer on all tlX since some machines had not installed the latest version.
A new approach for our ticket management comes up: maybe redmine is a good choice.
Lots of stuff to check out at redmine
