There are still problems on the thinlinc server:

• During login a message 'mounting local drives' appears and the login hangs at this point.
• Printing ist still instable.
• Opening a files choose or manager might take 1-2 minutes

We're working on the named issues.

Dear all

We still have some performance issues (slow opening of file browser, stale printer) on the new thinlinc server. We hope with a configuration change to fix these problems.

We will reboot the thinlinc server tonight.

All sessions will be killed. Please save your work before.

When you log in the next time, you can choose between Cinnamon und Gnome/Ubuntu. We recommend to choose Cinnamon: it behaves much like the old Mate, but gives the power and flexibilty of a modern Gnome 3 based environment. Check out the well organized settings play around with themes, applets & extensions.

Use the left windows key to open the start menu, start searching installed application just by typing part of the name. Use left windows key & cursor up|down|left|right to position windows to the border.
