We will update all ThinLinc servers (=Terminals at the institute & remote access):
Wednesday, December 14 2016, 18:00 - 20:00
All running sessions will be killed at 18:00! Best is to quit your session before you leave your office.
During the maintenance time, the thinlinc sessions are not available or not stable. The best is: don't use thinlinc during this time.
Tasks:
- Update to Ubuntu 16.04
- Update to Thinlinc 4.7
New Features: remote printing!
Do
- connect to a thinlinc session from at home,
- you have a printer configured on your home computer,
- inside the thinlinc session choose the printer 'thinlocal',
- print
Such a document will be redirected to your local printer at home.

Dear all
this morning at 04:32 a virtual host server has crashed. Some services has been stopped, e.g. License Server, various EDX instances, I-MATH WLAN authentication.
The host has been rebooted and all services should be back online again.

we had some technical problems with our thinlinc servers. During that time login to thinlinc was not prossible. At the moment the system looks fine, but we need some more testing.
